My role:

Student Opportunities Participant. Processing high-resolution acoustic backscatter collected by an autonomous underwater vehicle using Caris as part of a reef mapping exercise in Hawaii. This was the first part of a larger study to determine historic sea levels in the Hawaiian Islands with the aim of a better understanding of future sea-level rise. During the voyage, I also built a Blue ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle). (More on this project)
