1/2018 – 8/2018

My role:

Preparation, deployment, and piloting of an autonomous underwater glider to measure spring upwelling in Lake Tahoe (CA/NV, USA). This included the integration of a LISST (Laser In-Situ Scattering and Transmissometry) into the vehicle payload. This project served as an opportunity to beta test the glider LISST. This project captured several complete upwellings during June 2018. (More on Project UPWELL)
