8/2017 - ongoing

My role:

Periodic deployment of ADCPs from August 2017 through June 2018 measuring water velocities and acoustic backscatter. Analyzing acoustic backscatter to study diurnal migratory behavior of Mysis shrimp. These data will be augmented by the larger Tahoe Environmental Research Center Mysis control project.

Mysis filmed near Rubicon Bay, Lake Tahoe CA/NV by Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) and Seamor Marine with an ROV, in April 2017.

Mysis in Lake Tahoe, filmed with an ROV in 2016.
